St. Paul E-Democracy

Mission Statement (draft)

The Mission of St. Paul E-Democracy is to empower, inform, and engage citizens in the public life of our community, by building online forums and tools for citizen engagement and making them accessible to the community. We seek to improve the quality of public policy decision making in our city, by linking the diverse voices of our citizenry to community leaders and elected officials in a civil and respectful exchange of information and ideas.

2. Citizens Guide to St. Paul - testing phase, a respository of information for citizens.

SPED Executive Committee

Update (Jan, 2010): The Executive Committee has effectively disbanded. There originally were to be two annual meetings (one in 2008 and the other in 2009) but members' interest apparently flagged and they essentially drifted away from the infrastructure. A less formal and more "ad hoc" form of management is envisioned and those interested in working on specific tasks or projects can contact the Forum Manager or Steven Clift, Executive Director of e-Democracy.org. For reference, past members of the Executive Committee included:
